Adam-U is an advanced humanoid robot platform developed for data collection and manipulation training. It offers 31 degrees of freedom, including a two-degree-of-freedom head, dexterous hands, and a three-degree-of-freedom waist equipped with a braking system to provide both stability and flexibility.
The platform combines high-precision motion capture with tactile, articulated hands, allowing it to perform human-like manipulation while capturing detailed, real-time data. Its biomimetic design makes it especially well suited for reinforcement learning and imitation learning research.
